Oruro is a city in Bolivia with a population of about 248,000 (2000). It is the capital of the department of Oruro.It is Bolivia's fifth-largest city by population, after Santa Cruz de la Sierra, El Alto, La Paz, and Cochabamba. It is the capital of the Department of Oruro and the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oruro. Oruro has been subject to cycles of boom and bust owing to its dependence on the mining industry, notably tin, tungsten (wolfram), silver and copper.

    Foi aqui nesse estádio que um torcedor do Small Club from Sao Paulo (SCCP) apontou um sinalizador na direção da torcida do San José e matou um menino de 14 anos. Torcida de bandidos e assassinos. Doze torcedores deste clube estão presos a 200 m do estádio, morrendo de medo de apanharem da população.
